Ingrients & Directions


1 1/2 c Flour 1 c Chopped dates
1 1/2 t Baking powder 1 c Maraschino cherries, drained
1/2 t Salt 3 ea Eggs, beatened
2/3 c Chocolate pieces 1 c Sugar
2 c Chopped nuts

Grease a loaf pan and line it with waxed paper. Preheat oven to 325
degrees. Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in the chocolate
pieces, nuts, dates and cherries and mix until ingredients are coated
with flour. Fold the beaten eggs and sugar into flour mixture until
combined. Bake 1 1/2 hours.
