1 c Evaporated milk
6 oz Semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 c Miniature marshmallows
1/4 ts Salt
1 qt Vanilla ice cream; softened
1/2 c Pecan halves
1 sm Bag vanilla wafers
Mix first 4 ingredients in heavy saucepan. Stir over medium heat until
chocolate & marshmallows melt completely. Remove from heat as mixture
thickens. Cool to room temperature. Line bottom & sides of a 13x9x2-inch
dish with vanilla wafers. Spoon half of ice cream over wafers. Cover with
half the chocolate mixture. Repeat with rest of ice cream & chocolate.
Place pecans on top. Freeze 3-5 hours until firm. Cut into squares to
serve.
