Baked Hush Puppies

Ingrients & Directions


1 c Yellow cornmeal
1 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Paprika
1/2 c Skim milk
1 Egg white
1 tb Canola oil

1.Preheat oven to 425 F. Spray a baking sheet with vegetable cooking
spray.

2.In a large bowl, combine cornmeal, baking powder, salt, and paprika. Mix
well.

3.In a small bowl, whisk together milk, egg white, and oil until smooth.

4.Add milk mixture to cornmeal mixture. Stir until batter is just combined.
Shape the batter into 1 1/2-inch rounds. Place rounds, 1 inch apart, on
prepared baking sheet.

5.Bake hush puppies until tops are firm and golden, about 10 to 15 minutes.
Serve immediately.
