Cheesy Garlic Biscuits

Ingrients & Directions


2 c Whole-wheat flour
1 c Cheddar cheese, grated
2 tb Margarine or shortening
3/4 c Milk
Garlic powder

Preheat oven to 375F. Combine flour and cheese, and cut in margarine or
shortening. Add milk and mix well. Knead lightly. Divide dough into two
parts, and roll out to 1 inch thickness on a floured board. Cut into
desired shapes, and place biscuits on a ungreased cookie sheet. Prick with
a fork, and sprinkle with garlic powder. Bake 12 to 15 minutes, or until
lightly browned. Cool and serve. Refrigerate to store.
