Cheesy Herb Biscuits

Ingrients & Directions


2 c All-Purpose Flour
1 tb Baking Powder
3 tb Butter Flavor Shortening.
3/4 c Milk
1/2 c Grated Cheddar Cheese
1 tb Chopped Chives
2 ts Chopped Parsley
1 ts Basil

Preheat Roast-Air oven to 450 degrees. Combine flour and baking powder in
medium mixing bowl; cut in shortening until mixture crumbles. Stir in milk,
cheese and herbs just until moistened. Knead ten times on lightly floured
surface. Roll into rectangle 1/2-inch thick. With 2-inch biscuit cutter,
cut 18-20 rounds. Place half the biscuit rounds on 14x8x12 inch baking
sheet. Place baking sheet on rack. Set rack in preheated cookwell, cover;
plug in Roast-Air fan. Air-bake 8-10 minutes or until puffed and lightly
browned. Remove biscuits with spatula onto cooling rack. Repeat with
remaining biscuit rounds.
