This recipe is an adaptation of an old recipe, newly created by
Athena.
(She likes to put candy sprinkles on top)
THIN BROWN SUGAR COOKIES
INGREDIENTS
1/2 CUP Butter and 1/2 CUP Margarine 2 Eggs 1 CUP Granulated Sugar 2
CUPS Unsifted All-Purpose Flour 1/2 CUP Packed Light Brown Sugar 2
TSP. Vanilla 1 TSP. Baking Soda
Cream butter and margarine, ganulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla
until light and fluffy. add eggs and beat well.
Combine flour and baking soda, add to creamed mixture.
DROP BY TEASPOONFULS ONTO UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES
FOR 10 TO 12 MINUTES OR UNTIL LIGHT BROWN. COOL SLIGHTLY BEFORE
REMOVING FROM SHEET. COOL ON WIRE RACK. CAN BE ROLLED IN BALLS AND
PUT ON SHEET.
MAKES 5 DOZEN 2 1/2 INCH COOKIES, BUT YOU NEVER GET THAT MANY BECAUSE
YOU EAT THEM WHILE YOU ARE BAKING.
