Toasted Herb Bread

Ingrients & Directions


1 Loaf thinly sliced bread
1 c Butter; softened
4 tb Chopped chives
1 ts Basil
1 ts Savory

Preheat oven to 325?. Remove crust from the bread. Combine softened butter
with the herbs and mix well. Spread herbed butter on both sides of slices
of bread and cut in half. Place on a cookie sheet and bake for 45 minutes
to 1 hour. Yield: 4 to 8 servings.
