Ingrients & Directions
3 c Flour 1 ea Egg, slightly beaten
1 1/4 c Lard, needs to be cold 5 tb Cold water
1/4 ts Salt 1 ts Vinegar
Mix salt into flour and cut lard in with pastry blender. Mix until
crumbly. Mix the water, egg, and vinegar together and add to flour
mixture. Mix into stiff dough with wooden spoon. Shortening can be
subtituted for the lard but the crust will not be as “tender” or
flaky.
