2 Sq semisweet chocolate;
-melted
1/2 c Butter or shortening
1 c Sugar
2 Eggs
1/2 c Sifted flour
1 ts Vanilla
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Chopped nuts*
To melted chocolate, add butter, sugar, eggs, flour, vanilla, and salt;
beat well and spread on a greased baking sheet. Sprinkle nuts on top and
press down a bit so they will stick. Bake at 350 degrees until firm. Cool
slightly and cut in squares. *Note: This batch of cookies made with 1 cup
of chopped nuts.
