3/8 c Milk
2 tb Sugar
1 1/2 tb Fat
1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Yeast
2 tb Warm water
1 sm Egg, beaten
1 3/4 c Flour
Melted butter
Streusel crumbs
Scald milk; pour over sugar, fat and salt in a bowl, cool. Soften
yeast in warm water, add the egg and mix. Add to milk mixture. Add
almost half the flour and beat well. Mix in rest of flour. Roll out
1/2″ thick and place in a well greased pan. Let rise until double.
Prick top with fork; brush with melted butter. Put streusel crumbs on
top. Let rise for half an hour; bake at 400 degrees for about 20
minutes.
