Ingrients & Directions
1/4 c Salad oil
1 ea Egg; beaten
1/2 c Milk
1 1/2 c Flour
3/4 c Sugar
2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Vanilla
1/2 ts Salt
SPICY TOPPING
1/4 c Brown sugar
1 tb Flour
1 ts Cinnamon
1 tb Margarine; melted
1/2 c Nuts; chopped
COFFEE CAKE: Combine salad oil, egg, sugar and milk. Sift together
dry ingredients; add to milk mixture, mix well. Pour into greased
and floured 9x9x2 pan. SPICY TOPPING: Combine brown sugar, flour,
cinnamon, melted butter and chopped nuts. Spread over cake mixture.
Bake at 375 degrees 40 min or until toothpick inserted in center
comes out clean. Notes: Family favorite
