Judith’s Strange Upside-down Rhubarb Cake-like Thing

Ingrients & Directions


3 c Rhubarb; (cut into 1 inch
-pieces)

-SPRINKLE THIS WITH-

IN THIS ORDER
1 c Sugar
1 ts Or more cinnamon
Grated rind and juice of 1
-lemon
1 tb Flour

-POUR OVER SURFACE-
3 tb Melted butter

-BATTER-
1 c Flour
1/2 c Sugar
1 ts Baking powder
1/4 ts Salt
1 tb Melted butter
1/2 c Milk

Preheat oven to 425 degrees Prepare the following batter:

thoroughly grease 8″ casserole dish Beat the batter and pour it over
rhubarb in pan. Cover. Bake 30 minutes. Reverse onto plate.
