Raisin Pumpernickel Bread

Ingrients & Directions


1 1/2 c Water
2 tb Vegetable oil
2 tb Molasses
3/4 ts Salt
2 tb Cocoa powder
1 1/2 ts Instant coffee granules
1 1/2 tb Caraway seed
1/2 c Cornmeal
1 1/2 c Rye flour
2 c Bread flour
2 ts Yeast
2/3 c Raisins

*** Add raisins at the beginning of the second kneading period!!!

Add ingredients to your bread machine according to the manufacturer’s
instructions – Wheat, Sweet, or Basic Cycle. Maked 1 1/2 lb loaf. This is a
moist, low-rising bread.
