Sausage Pie

Ingrients & Directions


16 ea Small fresh link pork 1 c Cheddar cheese — 4 ounces
Sausages — about 1 pound Shredded
1/2 md Green pepper — chopped 1 tb Worcestershire sauce
1/2 md Sweet red pepper — chopped 1 ts Salt
1 tb Cooking oil 2 tb Fresh parsley — chopped
3 c Long grain rice — cooked 1 ts Dried basil
5 md Tomatoes — peeled and 1 c Soft bread crumbs
Chopped 2 tb Butter or margarine —
1 pk Frozen corn — l0 ounces Melted
Thawed

Place sausages on a rack in a baking pan; bake at 350 deg. for 15
minutes or until lightly browned. Cut into 1-in. pieces; set aside.
In a skillet, saute peppers in oil for 3 minutes. Place in a 3-qt.
casserole; add the sausages and the next eight ingredients. Combine
bread crumbs and butter; sprinkle on top of casserole. Bake,
uncovered, at 350 deg. for 30-40 minutes or until heated through.
Yield: 6-8 servings
