Full Harvest Bread (machine) – Large Loaf

Ingrients & Directions


1 c Water
3 c White bread flour
2 tb Dry milk
1 1/2 ts Salt
2 tb Butter
1 tb Maple syrup
1/2 tb Brown sugar
1/2 c Pumpkin, canned
1 ts Vanilla extract
3/4 ts Ginger, ground
1/2 ts Allspice
1/2 c Pumpkin seeds
1 1/2 ts Yeast, fast rise or machine
– or –
3 ts Yeast, active dry

Rather than sweet, this loaf is a full-bodied squash bread,
reminiscent of acorn squash. The pumpkin seeds are a wonderful,
distinctive touch; they give the bread crunch along with a special
taste of autumn.

Success Hints

Be sure to use plain canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling).

Use regular or rapid bake cycle.
