Lime Pie

Ingrients & Directions


-CRUST-
1 c Vanilla wafer crumbs
1/4 c Sugar
1/2 c Finely chopped pecans
1/4 c Butter

FILLING
3 Egg yolks
1/4 c Lime juice
1 ts Grated lime rind
1 cn Sweetened condensed milk
-(Eaglebrand)
Green food coloring

TOPPING
1 sm Carton whipping cream
4 tb Powdered sugar

Combine crumbs, sugar, pecans, melted butter. Press firmly onto bottom and
sides of an 8 or 9 inch pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool.
Beat egg yolks. Add lime juice and rind, Eaglebrand milk and food color.
Mix well at medium speed; pour into pie shell and chill. Whip cream.
Sweeten to taste with powdered sugar. Spread on pie and chill.
