1 9 Inch Pie Shell — unbaked 1/2 ts Ground Ginger
2 Eggs 1/4 ts Ground Cloves
1 cn (16 Oz) Pumpkin 1 2/3 c Evaporated Milk Or
3/4 c Sugar -Half-And-Half
1/2 ts Salt Praline Topping — (see
1 ts Ground Cinnamon -below)
Prepare pie shell. Heat oven to 425 F. Beat eggs slightly with hand
beater; beat in remaining ingredients except Praline Topping. Place
pastry-lined pie plate on oven rack; pour in filling. Bake 15 mins.
Reduce oven temperature to 350 F. Bake 35 mins; sprinkle with Praline
Topping. Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean, about
10 mins longer; cool. Serve with sweetened whipped cream, if desired.
PRALINE TOPPING: Mix 1/2 cup packed brown sugar, 1/3 cup chopped
pecans and 1 Tbs margarine or butter, softened.
