100 g Sugar
125 g Ground almonds
100 g Soft butter
1 Egg yolk
1 Rolled out sheet of puff
-pastry; (15x15cm)
Egg wash
3 Agen prunes
Armagnac
Preheat the oven to 200C.
Combine the first three ingredients. Place pastry on a baking sheet and
brush edges with egg wash. Place some of the almond mix on pastry and then
halve the prunes and place them on top.
Dust with caster sugar and cook for 10-15 minutes. Remove from the oven and
drizzle on a little Armagnac.
