1 2/3 c Sugar
1 sm Can (2/3 cup) Carnation
-Evaporated Milk
2 tb Butter
9 Squares (1 oz each) white
-chocolate
2 c Mini marshmallows
1 c Glace cherries, halved (do
-not use maraschino
-cherries)
Combine sugar, e. milk and butter in large heavy saucepan. cook and stir
over med. heat until mixture boils vigorously. Boil 4 to 5 min, stirring
constantly. Reduce heat to low. Add white chocolate; stir until completely
melted. Remove from heat. Add marshmallows; stir until marshmallows melt.
Stir in cherries. Pour into 8-inch foil-lined square cake pan. Chill until
set. Store in refrigerator. Makes about sixty-four 1-inch squares.
