Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread

Ingrients & Directions


1 c Packed brown sugar 1/2 c Water
1 c Sugar 2 ts Baking soda
2/3 c Butter or margarine — 1 ts Ground cinnamon
Softened 1 ts Salt
3 ea Eggs 1/2 ts Ground cloves
2 1/3 c All-purpose flour 2 c Semisweet chocolate chips —
1 1/2 c Pumpkin — canned 12 oz.

In a mixing bowl, cream sugars, butter and eggs. Add flour, pumpkin,
water, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and cloves. Mix thoroughly. Fold
in chocolate chips. Pour into four greased and floured 6x3x2 inch
loaf pans. Bake at 350 deg. for 45 min. or until breads test done.
Yield: 4 mini loaves.
