No-knead Whole Wheat Bread

Ingrients & Directions


1 pk Active dry yeast — quick 2 tb Butter or margarine
Rising 1/4 oz 1 ts Salt
1 1/4 c Warm water 1 1/2 c Whole-grain wheat flour
2 tb Honey 1 1/2 c All-purpose flour

In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in honey;
add butter, salt and whole wheat flour. beat on low speed until
well-blended. Stir in all-purpose flour. Cover and let rise in a warm
place until doubled, about 30 min. Stir 30 strokes with a spoon; pour
batter into a greased 8 1/2×4 1/2 in. bread pan. Cover and let rise
in a warm place until batter reaches edge of pan. about 30 min. Bake
at 375 deg. for 30 to 40 min. Cool on wire rack. Yield: l loaf.
