Mincemeat Pie

Ingrients & Directions


2 c Cooked ground beef
3 c Ground raw apples
1/2 c Brown sugar
1/4 ts Salt
1 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Cloves (optional)
2 tb Whiskey
4 tb Black Cherry Wine
Raisins (optional)
1 Double crust unbaked 9″
Shell

Combine beef, apples, sugar, salt & spices in saucepan. Cook over low
heat until thoroughly heated. (Add beef broth if needed to keep from
getting dry). Stir in whiskey, wine & raisins. Pour into shell. Cover
with top crust. Seal edges. Bake 350 for 45 minutes. Serve hot. **
Mincemeat may be frozen after being heated. To use, thaw & add
whiskey, wine & raisins.
