Ingrients & Directions
1 1/4 c Boiling water
1 c Quick-cooking oats
1/2 c Butter
1 c Brown sugar
1 c Sugar
2 Eggs
1 1/3 c Flour
1 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Nutmeg
1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Cinnamon
TOPPING
1/4 c Soft butter
1/2 c Sugar
1/4 c Evaporated milk
1 c Coconut
1/2 ts Vanilla
pour water over oats. Lay butter on top. Cover; let stand 20 minutes. Add
remaining ingredients except topping. Bake in a greased 9×13 inch pan at
350 for 30-35 minutes.
Combine topping ingredients and spread on top of cake. Place in broiler
until browned.
