Cake Decorator’s Icing

Ingrients & Directions


1/2 c Crisco; (1/2 to 3/4)
1/4 c Water
1 tb Meringue powder
1 lb Box powdered sugar
1/4 c Sifted flour
1/2 ts Vanilla flavoring

Mix dry ingredients. Add Crisco and liquids. Mix with electric mixer until
smooth and fluffy. Add food coloring if desired. Enough icing for a cake.
Double recipe if more is needed for elaborate decorating.
