Garlic Herb Bread

Ingrients & Directions


8 oz Loaf French bread (one small
Loaf)
1/4 c Butter — softened
1 md Clove garlic — minced
1 1/2 ts Fresh oregano — finely
Chopped
3 tb Parmesan cheese — grated

1. Cut bread into 1-1/2-inch-thick slices, or split lengthwise.

2. Blend together butter, garlic, and oregano. Spread on bread. Sprinkle
with cheese.

3. Broil until top is light brown and bubbly, 2 to 3 minutes.

Makes about 12 slices, or two half-loaves.

Microwave Version

1. Complete as directed in steps 1 and 2 above.

2. Place cut sides of bread back together to form loaf. Wrap in paper
towel.

3. Microwave on 50% power until heated through, 30 to 60 seconds. Be
careful not to overheat bread or it will get tough.

Microwave Preparation Time: About 8 minutes
