Banana Apricot Bread

Ingrients & Directions


2 c Sifted all-purpose flour
1 c Sugar
1 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
1 c Chopped dried apricots
3/4 c Mashed ripe bananas
1/2 c Milk
1 lg Egg
1/4 c Butter; melted
Powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350. Sift dry ingredients together. Add apricots. Combine
remaining ingredients and add to dry ingredients, stirring just until well
blended. Turn into a 9×5 glass loaf pan that has been greased and lined
with wax paper. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until done. Cool in pan for 10
minutes, then turn out on wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Yield: 1
loaf.
