Banana Bread

Ingrients & Directions


1 Egg
2/3 c Sour cream
1/2 c Honey
1 ts Vanilla extract
1 1/2 c Ripe or overripe bananas,
-mashed
1 c Chopped nuts
2 1/4 c Flour
1 1/2 ts Baking powder
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Cinnamon

In a large bowl, beat the egg until lightly colored. Add sour cream;
honey and vanilla. Beat again. Mash bananas with potato masher or a
fork; add to the egg mixture. Add nuts. Sift together remaining dry
ingredients. Combine with banana mixture and blend lightly.

Pour batter into a greased 8 1/2×4 1/2″ loaf pan. Bake at 350’F.
about 1 hour,
until bread is browned. Cool before slicing.

Makes 1 loaf.
