Ingrients & Directions


18 3/4 oz Package devil’s food cake -topping; thawed
-mix with pudding 21 oz Can cherry pie filling
8 oz Container frozen whipped

Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Spoon batter
into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan; bake according to
package directions. Cool in pan 10 minutes; remove from pan, and let
cool completely on a wire rack.
Slice cake horizontally to make 3 layers. Place bottom layer on
cake platter; spread with about 1 cup whipped topping, and top with
one-third of cherry pie filling. Repeat process with second and
third layers. Chill well. Yield: 1 ten-inch cake.
