2 tb Droste’s cocoa
1 c Brown sugar; firmly packed
1 Egg; beaten
1/4 c Melted butter
1 ts Vanilla
1 c Chopped nuts
1/2 c Sifted cake flour

Heat oven to 325. Mix all ingredients together well, beating for one
minute. Pour into greased 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Bake 20 – 25 minutes or until
done. Cut into squares while warm. Cool, then remove from pan. Makes 16
squares.
