Karen Butler’s Banana Bread

Ingrients & Directions


1/2 c Vegetable oil 3 tb Baking powder
1 c Sugar 1/2 ts Salt
2 Eggs OPTIONAL:
1 c Mashed ripe bananas 1/2 c Chocolate chips
1 ts Lemon juice 1/2 c Raisins
2 c Sifted flour 1/2 c Nuts

1. Cream oil & sugar. 2 Beat eggs until light and add to the oil &
sugar 3. Mash bananas & add lemon juice. Blend with creamed mixture
4. Sift Flour, baking powder and salt
and mix into banana mixture. Add chips, nuts, raisins. 5. Bake
in greased 9X5X3 loaf pan at 375 degrees for 1 1/4 hours. Makes 1
loaf.
