Tomato Pie

Ingrients & Directions


1 9″ pie shell Salt & pepper to taste
4 lg Tomatoes, peeled, sliced 1/2 c Mayonnaise
1/2 ts Dried basil 1 c Shredded cheddar cheese

Partly bake pie shell at 350 deg f. Into partly baked shell, add tomatoes,
salt, pepper and basil. In a small bowl combine mayo and cheese. Spread
this mixture over tomato. Bake pie at 350 deg f for 30 minutes. Good when
served as a side dish or as a light main course with a garden salad.
