Five Flavor Pound Cake

Ingrients & Directions


2 Sticks margarine or butter
1/2 c Shortening
3 c Sugar
5 Eggs; (well beaten)
3 c All purpose flour
1/2 ts Baking powder
1 c Milk
1 tb Flavoring: coconut; rum,
-butter, lemon,
; vanilla

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter, shortening and sugar thoroughly.
Beat until batter is light and fluffy. Add eggs and blend well. Add flour,
baking powder and mix. Add flavoring and blend well.

Pour into greased tube pan. Bake for 1 1/2 hours.
