Ingrients & Directions
1/2 c Shorting or; (half butter)
1/2 c Peanut Butter
1/2 c Sugar
1/2 c Brown sugar; (packed)
1 Egg
1 1/4 c Flour; sifted
1/2 ts Baking powder
3/4 ts Baking soda
1/4 ts Salt
Mix thoroughly wet ingredients Sift together dry ingredients and stir into
wet Chill dough,roll into balls (about the size of walnuts). Place 3″ apart
on a lightly greased baking sheet. Flatten the rolled dough balls with a
fork that is dipped into flour, using a crisscross pattern. Bake until set,
but not hard, in a 375 degree oven, for 10 to 12 minutes.
