1 c Sugar
3 Egg whites
2 ts Meringue powder
1 ts Vanilla
1 1/4 c Shredded coconut
Sift sugar. Beat until stiff the egg whites with meringue powder. Add the
sugar very slowly, beating constant- ly. Fold in vanilla and coconut. Drop
the batter from tea- spoon onto well greased and well floured baking tin.
Place English walnuts on top of each cookie. Bake in slow 300 degrees oven
for about 30 minutes. Makes 2 dozen.
