Buttermilk Raisin Bread

Ingrients & Directions


lg LOAF:
7/8 c Buttermilk -or-
3 tb Dry buttermilk powder -plus-
7/8 c Water
1 Egg
3 c Flour
1 ts Salt
3 tb Sugar
1/3 c Margarine
1/4 ts Baking Soda
2/3 c Raisins
1 1/2 ts Yeast
sm LOAF:
5/8 c Buttermilk -or-
2 tb Dry buttermilk powder -plus-
5/8 c Water
1 Egg
2 c Flour
1 ts Salt
2 tb Sugar
1/4 c Margarine
1/4 ts Baking Soda
1/2 c Raisins
1 1/2 ts Yeast

Following is my favorite raisin bread. It is from “Bread Machine Magic”.
Hope you enjoy it. I really like this list and want to thank everyone for
contributing so that I can make better bread.

Place all ingredients in bread pan, select Light crust setting.
