1 2/3 c Flour
1 c Sugar, brown, light
1/4 c Cocoa
1 ts Baking soda
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 c ;Water
1/3 c Oil
1 ts Vinegar
3/4 c Vanilla extract
1/2 c Chocolate chips, semi-sweet
1/2 c Banana; 1 med ripe
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a square pan, 8″x8″x2″. In
a small mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and
salt. Add water, oil, vinegar and vanilla. Stir in mashed ripe
banana; beat until smooth. Pour into the prepared pan. Sprinkle
chocolate chips over the top. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until a wooden
toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in the pan on a
wire rack. Cut into squares.
