Bananas And Cream Bread

Ingrients & Directions


—for 1 Pound Loaf—
1 1/4 ts Active Baker’s Yeast
1 c Bread Flour
2 tb Wheat Germ
2 tb Powdered Milk
1 tb Sugar
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Nutmeg; Grated
1/2 ts Vegetable Oil
3/4 c Mashed Bananas
1/2 c Sour Cream; Or Yogurt
1/4 c Water
1 1/4 c Raisins; Or Chopped Nuts
—for 1 1/2 Pound Loaf—
2 ts Active Baker’s Yeast
3 c Bread Flour
3 tb Wheat Germ
3 tb Powdered Milk
1 1/2 tb Sugar
1 1/2 ts Salt
3/4 ts Nutmeg; grated
1 1/2 tb Vegetable Oil
1 c + 2 Tbsp Mashed Bananas
3/4 c Sour Cream; Or Yogurt
1/4 c + 1 Tbsp Water
3/4 c Raisins; Or Chopped Nuts

1. Add all ingredients except raisins or nuts, in order suggested by bread
machine manual and process on basic bread cycle.

2. At beeper or end of first kneading, add raisins or nuts.
