Poppy Seed Bread

Ingrients & Directions


4 Eggs
2 c Sugar
1 1/2 c Salad oil
3 c Flour
1/2 ts Salt
1 1/2 ts Baking soda
1 cn (13-oz) evaporated milk
1 tb Vanilla
2 oz Poppy seed

Preheat oven to 350. In a mixer, beat eggs with sugar until light and
fluffy. Gradually add salad oil. Sift flour, salt, and soda. Add
alternately with milk. Add vanilla and poppy seeds. Pour into 2 greased and
floured 9×5 loaf pans. Bake for 1 hour. This bread has a sweet flavor.
Yield: 2 loaves.
