1 c Chocolate flavoured syrup
1/2 l Whole milk
100 g Sugar
1 ts Vanilla essence; (5 ml.)
A few slices of pineapple;
-apples, pears,
; bananas, etc. for

BRING the milk to a boil in a heavy bottomed pan. Lower the heat and keep
stirring over low heat till reduced to 200 ml. Add sugar and stir well.
Simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Keep aside to cool. In a saucepan
combine the chocolate syrup and thickened milk. Cook over medium heat,
stirring constantly, for 12 minutes. Stir in the vanilla essence. Serve
bubbling in the fondue server with freshly sliced dippers.
