Ingrients & Directions
3/4 c Butter or margarine
1/2 c Sugar
1 ts Almond extract
1 pk 3-oz. cream cheese
1 1/2 c Sifted flour
1/2 ts Salt
1 c Oatmeal
1/2 c Chopped pecans
Beat the butter, cream cheese, sugar and almond extract until
creamy. Sift flour and salt together, stir into creamed mixture until
well blended. Add oatmeal and pecans. Chill dough 1 hour. Take a
small smount of dough and roll into finger thick 4-inch lengths, form
into wreaths or balls. Decorate with slivers of read and creen
candied cherries or sprinkle with colored sugar. Bake at 300? 25
minutes.
