Chop fine enough salt pork to fill 1 cup and pour over it 1 cup boiling
water. 1 cup sugar 1 cup molasses 1/2 cup chopped raisins 1 tsp soda 1 tsp
cloves 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp nutmeg flour This makes 2 loaves. (no quantity
for flour given for this or many recipes in this book.)
