Ingrients & Directions
1 c Sifted flour
1/2 c Sugar
1/2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/4 ts Salt
1/4 ts Cinnamon
Sugar for top
1/2 c Dark brown sugar
1/2 c Margarine
1 Egg
1/4 ts Vanilla
3/4 c Quick oats
1/2 c Raisins
1/4 c Nuts
Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, salt and cinnamon.
Stir in brown sugar. Blend in margarine, then egg and vanilla. Mix
well. Mix in oats, raisins and nuts. Shape dough into 1 inch balls.
Put the small amount of sugar into saucer–dip tops of balls in
sugar. Place on ungreased sheet 3 inches apart. Bake at 375 10 to
12 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
