1/4 c Water, warm (110)
1 pk Yeast
2 tb Sugar
2 c Milk, skim, warm (110)
2 tb Butter, melted
2 ts Salt
3/4 c Cheese, parmesan
1 ts Basil
1 ts Dill
1 ts Thyme
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Combine milk, butter, cheese, salt and herbs.
Do your old fashioned kneading thing with the flour until you have dough as
smooth as a baby’s bottom. Let rise until double (1 hr). Shape into two
loaves & place in greased pans. Let rise until double (30-45 minutes).
Brush with an egg and water mixture. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and more
parmesan or asgio cheese. Bake at 375F until brown and hollow sounding.
Enjoy this rather unscientific recipe!!!
