Smoky’s Piedmont Hardcore Basting Sauce

Ingrients & Directions


1 qt Apple Cider Vinegar
1 qt Water
2 c Prepared mustard
2 tb Non-iodized salt – heaping
1 ts Cayenne Pepper
2 ts Fresh Ground Black Pepper

North Carolina is really fragmented on basting sauces. If you really want
to get away from those sweet tasting sauces, try this one on for size.

Baste regularly while cooking.
