Ingrients & Directions
1/4 c Milk 1/2 c Warm water
1/4 c Warm water 2 ts Sugar
2 ts Salad oil 1 1/4 ts Salt
1 pk Yeast 2 1/3 c Flour
Recipe by: Stacked arms B & B in Wiscasset, Maine combine the milk,
1/4 C water and oil, bring to a boil. Cool to lukewarm. Sprinkle the
yeast on 1/2 C warm water; stir until dissolved; add with sugar and
salt to the cooled milk mixture. Stir the liquid into the flour just
enough to blend thoroughly. Cover; let stand in a warm place for
12-18 hours to sour.
