2 lg Egg
1 1/2 c Sugar
2/3 c Shortening
1/2 ts Baking Soda
2 ts Baking Powder
2 3/4 c Flour
1 ts Salt
1 1/2 ts Cinnamon
2/3 ts Nutmeg
1/2 c Milk
2 c Wild Plums; Cooked
Sift dry ingredients together. Set aside. Cream shortening and sugar until
fluffy. Add eggs and beat thorough- ly. Add dry ingredients alternately
with milk and plums. Bake at 350 degrees until cake tests done (springs
back when touched with finger). Cool.
