3 c Self rising flour 12 oz Can beer -OR-
3 tb Sugar 12 oz Can seltzer, unflavored
-BEER BREAD: 1/2 c Butter, melted
1 pk Bread mix
Mix: Combine well and store in an airtight container.
Beer Bread: Preheat oven to 375. Combine bread mix and beer or
seltzer, beating with a wooden spoon. The batter will be lumpy. Place
in a greased loaf pan, pouring 1/3 of the melted butter ontop. Bake
40 minutes; pur another 1/3 butter on top. Bake 10 minutes more, p
Dilly Beer Bread: Include 2 tb dried dillweed in blend, or 1/4 cup
fresh snipped dill at baking time.
Cheesy Beer Bread: Add 1 cup grated Cheddar or Swiss cheese and 4
shakes hot pepper sauce. All other recipe steps are the same.
