1 c Old fashioned rolled oats
1/3 c Butter or margarine
1 c Boiling water
Add & stir:
3/4 c Cornmeal
1 tb Sugar
1 tb Chicken or beef instant
-bouillon
1/2 c Milk
1 c Shredded cheddar cheese
1 Egg, beaten
Add in, one cup at a time:
2 c To 3 c whole wheat or bread
-flour

Combine & let stand 15 minutes:
Add flour to form a stiff dough. Knead until smooth and no longer
sticky, 3 4 minutes. Roll or pat out dough to 1/2″ thickness; cut w/
a bone cookie cutter or sm.biscuit cutter. Place 1″ apart on a
greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 for 35 to 40 minutes or until
golden brown. Cool completely.Store loosely covered.
