2 ts Soda
1 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
2 Eggs
1 c Buttermilk
1 c Strong coffee
1/2 c Cooking oil
2 ts Vanilla
FILLING
2 1/2 c Ricotta cheese
1/2 c Sugar
1 c Chocolate pieces
1 c Cherries-drained and cut up
FROSTING
2/3 c Butter
1/2 c Cocoa
1 pk Powdered sugar
1/2 c Milk; more if needed

Prepare Cake: Mix 2 cups sugar, flour, 1/4 cup cocoa, soda and baking
powder. Add eggs, buttermilk, coffee, cooking oil and vanilla. Put in
three round pans. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool and split layers
horizontally.
Prepare Filling: Mix together filling ingredients and spread on cooled,
spit layers. Do not frost top with filling.
Prepare Frosting: Mix together frosting ingredients and frost top and sides
of cake.
