Cornbread & Sausage Stuffing

Ingrients & Directions


4 c Boiling water 1/2 c Melted butter
4 c Cornbread, broken up Salt and pepper
1 Onion, grated 1 1/2 c Sausage
1 c Diced celery 3 Dozen chestnuts (optional)
2 Eggs, beaten

Pour boiling water over bread and squeeze out fairly dry. Add
remaining ingredients except sausage and mix well. Brown sausage and
add to stuffing. Use for stuffing pork, lamb, or as a side dish for
you main meal.
